i"m make the efforts to decide if i should teach mine skitty double-edge or no (in ruby). In mine playthroughs i never use TMs or HMs because that my main 6, and also i"m make the efforts to discover a great moveset because that him. I"m thinking of maintaining sing, pass out attack, cure bell, and then instead of doubleslap with double-edge, however i"m thinking i more than likely won"t because the 1/2 damages recoil simply doesn"t seem precious it. I desire to keep faint assault b/c right currently that"s the only one of the 2 dark move my team has. Any kind of thoughts?

A great move if you want a an effective normal kind attack could be Return - it"s quite close in power however you take no recoil, back you need Skitty"s joy to it is in high (if you"ve had actually the Skitty for a while it should already be, otherwise many levelling should do the trick). Return can likewise be bought as frequently as you want from the department save (wherever the is, i can"t remember)

If you don"t desire to use Return, then Double-Edge appears decent come me. It deals 2.7 times as much damage as Doubleslap ~ above average, so even if you halve that for recoil, you"re tho looking at more damage.

yeah, actually now that i look in ~ the number doubleslap is pretty weak. Ns think i might use a TM after all b/c i"m still not satisfied w/ double-edge"s recoil. Return"s max. Base strength is only 40. What around using facade instead? it has a base of 70.

also, for my solrock ns think i"m walking to have to choose in between keeping man or psywave. I"m prob. Going come go with confusion.

Return base power is 102 once your joy is at maximum.

EDIT: Otherwise, if you yes, really intend come go with with Skitty/Delcatty but don"t mind reproduction one, breed one to get Wish to recoup from the recoil done by Double-Edge.

Uh, Return"s Max base power is 102... Facade is pretty great too, actually.

As for Psywave, if I taken how the works appropriately it"s better on typical than confusion at around level 83, and Confusion can additionally confuse while Psywave is very unreliable. So, keep Confusion i guess.

another fast question: space tinymushrooms and also heart scales helpful for something in ruby or need to i just sell them?

I recognize one of castle is used at the move relearner"s home as payment however can"t remember i beg your pardon one it is. So, keep them. It"s not choose money is ever before a problem.

I agree the Return would be a better move than twin Edge.

IMO, heart Scales room pretty useful since they can reteach a poke a move, particularly if you accidently eliminated a relocate that you uncovered useful.

On a side note, you actually take 1/3 that the damage dealt.
