I"ve been told to completely remove my heater manage valve. Never ever having encountered this prior to I"m presume this is it...
I guess every that"s affiliated is simply to eliminate this valve and also re-connect the staying hoses. Not sure precisely how those connections would walk though. Hoses A & B both walk to the heater box and also hoses 1 & 2 both walk to the motor. Here"s whereby the height hose #1 goes...
If i knew what direction the water flowed in the last pic (to or far from the water pump) and which means the water should circulation through the heater box that would be enough info come know exactly how to hook the hoses up. I"m guessing the circulation through the heater box is "IN" with the bottom inlet and also "OUT" with the optimal outlet (in order to let air balloon escape). So am I acquiring this all about right? In what combination should this hoses it is in reconnected? .
It candid doesn"t really matter. The water pump will certainly bleed it the end well enough either way, particularly if you use a hill to assist it out.Buuuut, why room you act this? The PO walk it to my present XJ, and also it"s top top the perform of points to unfuck.

Update is that I"ve determined not to take it the valve out. Factor I to be doing this in the very first place was that I have actually a separate a/c trouble occurring and also in doing part research uncovered some threads where guys were suggesting to eliminate the HCV altogether citing reasons like in summer no coolant (with anti-corrosive properties) to be being circulated with the core, etc. But after looking into this a little more I"ve checked out suggestions that the valve should be left in as it will compromise my a/c if warm coolant is always moving v the heater core while the a/c was blowing. Renders sense. I"ll need to do a different thread top top the a/c problem.
